X’S & O’S

A high basketball IQ is important for players to maximize their on-court performance to train and compete at a high level.  The game of chess or checkers is typically won by the player who can envision multiple outcomes 2 or 3 moves ahead of their competition.  Basketball has the same characteristic as players who can use their fundamental skills and foresee multiple outcomes in real time events have the best chance of competing at their highest level.

Developing IQ isn’t easy and will likely take multiple failures before achieving success.  However, once an athlete determines how to see future moves, they will begin to separate themselves from their competition and everyone will notice.  Its really important for a player to develop basketball  intelligence.  Achieving the ultimate outcome will likely take many smaller improvements and a lot of repetitions.
